About you
We are seeking a Housing Services Coordinator to lead the delivery of high-quality tenancy and property management services across our Build to Rent (BTR) portfolio. This hands-on role combines leadership with operational responsibilities to ensure sustainable long-term housing outcomes for our clients while fostering a positive and supportive team culture.
Youll act as a point of escalation for complex tenancy matters provide guidance and mentoring to your team oversee compliance with legislation and organisational standards and act as a key liaison with internal teams government agencies and support services to achieve positive housing outcomes. This role also involves tenancy administration and representation at tribunal/court reporting and supporting the expansion of housing services.
What youll do
Working closely with our Housing Services Manager Build to Rent (BTR) and cross functional teams youll:
- Supervise and support Housing Officers to deliver onsite tenancy and property management services.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation organisational policies and WHS requirements.
- Act as an escalation point for complex tenancy issues including representation at tribunal/court.
- Liaise with government support agencies and internal teams to achieve quality outcomes for clients.
- Assist with tenancy administration and reporting.
- Contribute to service improvements and support housing service expansion.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Knowledge of tenancy legislation and housing sector practices.
- Experience in community social or public housing.
- Previous experience supervising or mentoring staff.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Current Drivers Licence and satisfactory Police & Working With Children Checks.
Please note that satisfactory police check is required for all staff and those with client related responsibilities are required to provide a NDIS and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
