Job Purpose and Impact
The Manufacturing TechnologySenior Engineerwill provide technical leadership and subject matterexpertisein theSolar and Evaporationmanufacturing technology areasto support thesalt role will helpoptimize the performance of existing assets by partnering with thesiteoperations andengineeringteamsand other this role you will work to drive efficient and safe performance of each unit operation including process capabilitiesperformance monitoringprocessimprovementsand support the training and developmentforthesaltmanufacturing technologies.
Key Accountabilities
- Assess technical performance of assets toidentifygaps andsolutions.
- Provide oversightintothe implementation of improvement projects plans techniquestoolsand quality standards across sites.
- Provide guidance to technicaldesignof systems and projectswithin thesolar and evaporationmanufacturing technology domains.
- Provide manufacturing technologyexpertiseto plants working with local teams manufacturing technology strategy and governance teams other subject matter experts externalexpertsand technical support toidentifyand resolve root causes toemergingissues.
- Provide leadership in administering andsupportthe creation of relatedstandardsfor plants in alignment with manufacturing technologysystems.
- Leading management ofcomplextechnicalissues.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Project or initiative management experience
- Experience in multiple domains such as engineering production reliability and capital excellence research and development and operations management
- 3 years ofexperience with relatedsolar or evaporationmanufacturing technology
Preferred Qualifications
- 5years of experience with relatedsolar or evaporationmanufacturing technology
- Bachelors degree inChemical Engineeringor equivalent
- Experienceworkinginoperations withinchemicalfoodor processing environments
- Proficient in data analysis andanalytics
- Ability to belocatedat a salt production facility

The expected salary for this position is $ varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location certifications education and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
