About the role

As a Senior Videographer you will support the Teacher Attraction Initiatives team within the School Workforce Directorate bringing stories to life through powerful visuals that inspire engage and make an impact. This team collaborates closely with key business stakeholders and plays a vital role in promoting career opportunities for current and future teachers across NSW through effective recruitment campaigns and innovative content that showcases the teacher value proposition (TVP) under the umbrella of the Early Career Academy (ECA) for Teachers.

Reporting to the Lead Creative Strategy you will create high-quality video content that showcases our people programs and purpose supporting recruitment campaigns aimed at attracting passionate high-quality teachers to the profession.

You will also play an important role in supporting the delivery of the Teach NSW Podcast assisting with technical production aspects such as recording editing and finalising episodes for release. Your expertise will help ensure the podcast continues to share authentic educator stories and insights that inspire future teachers across NSW.

From concept to delivery you will contribute to the creation of engaging visual stories that connect with diverse audiences across digital social podcast and broadcast channels. Your work will play a meaningful part in placing great educators in classrooms and shaping the future learning of children across NSW.

About you

  • Experience in developing and delivering brandcompliant video and multimedia content with confidence in managing all technical tasks across preproduction production and postproduction.
  • Proficient in developing contemporary video and multimedia briefings standards and guidelines.
  • Demonstrate strong capability in providing advice and guidance on video and multimedia production bestpractice.
  • Can effectively establish and maintain rapport with stakeholders.
  • Adaptable and flexible to competing and conflicting priorities in a changing environment.
  • Thrives in a high-pressure and time-sensitive environment.

Key knowledge and experience

  • Proficiency in using various software tools including Adobe Premiere Pro (25.5 onwards) Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign After Effects Photoshop Rush Audition) and equipment to create and manipulate rich media content including still images videos and audio files.
  • Experience filming and editing captured video for internal and external communication as well as marketing purposes.
  • Extensive knowledge of video and audio recording equipment including cameras (Canon C300 Canon C70 and Canon 5D Mark IV) managing storage devices microphones tripods lights podcast equipment and other related devices. Ability to use DJI Mavic preferred but not required.
