General Foreman
Provides dayâtoâday leadership to craft crews oversees field execution and ensures all work is completed safely efficiently and in compliance with refinery standards Austin Industrial procedures and regulatory requirements.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Direct and supervise craft foremen and skilled craft teams during daily refinery operations turnarounds and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate labor materials equipment and work sequencing to ensure tasks are completed on schedule and within scope.
- Enforce site safety policies procedures and permitâtoâwork requirements; lead daily safety meetings and job hazard analyses.
- Monitor job progress troubleshoot issues and implement solutions to ensure work quality and productivity standards are met.
- Collaborate with operations planning engineering and contractor teams to support project execution.
- Review and interpret blueprints technical drawings schedules and specifications.
- Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports time sheets work orders and toolbox talks.
- Provide coaching mentoring and performance feedback to craft personnel.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA refinery regulations and all applicable industry standards.
- Other duties as assigned.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Qualifications Required for this Position:
Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
License/Certification: Valid drivers license and ability to meet site access requirements
Experience: 5 years of industrial or refinery experience in a skilled craft trade or maintenance environment.
2 years of leadership or supervisory experience (Foreman or higher).
Experience in a refinery or petrochemical facility (strongly preferred).
Multiâcraft or turnaround experience (preferred).
Knowledge of SAP maintenance management systems or scheduling tools.
Strong understanding of refinery safety practices work permits and hazard recognition.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents drawings schedules and job plans.
Excellent communication organizational and leadership skills.
