Position Summary
The Account Representative - Industrial & Mechanical Equipment is responsible for managing and growing customer relationships across the Charlotte NC market. This role focuses on identifying customer needs delivering technical solutions and driving revenue through sales of new equipment and aftermarket services. Success in this position requires a blend of technical knowledge consultative sales skills and strong customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities

Generate leads for new equipment sales service contracts and construction-related opportunities

Develop manage and grow long-term relationships with assigned customer accounts

Execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue and growth targets

Respond to customer inquiries provide technical solutions and prepare accurate quotations

Conduct job site visits and collaborate with customers internal teams and subcontractors

Coordinate with inspectors and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with local state and federal requirements

Negotiate pricing process orders and manage project documentation
-
Promote company products and services through seminars trade shows and industry events
Required Qualifications

Prior experience in account management technical sales or industrial sales

Working knowledge of boiler systems packaged boilers heat exchangers or related industrial/mechanical equipment

Strong communication presentation and interpersonal skills

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with experience managing multiple accounts
-
Willingness and ability to travel locally within the assigned territory
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with mechanical contracting power generation or industrial service environments

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint)

Experience using CRM or sales tracking systems
