F139 (Tanker Program) Military Customer Support and Services (MCSS) Customer Support Engineering (CSE) team is a small high-performance program of cross-functional subject matter experts typically one-deep in applicable disciplines. The individual will be responsible for Field Sustainment activities to include technical guidance engine manual interpretation and updating of technical instructions development of KC-46A to F139 Fault troubleshooting guide field event analysis and overall support directly to P&W Field Service Representatives (FSR) and the United States Air Force customer.

What You Will Do:

Help develop and define the structure of the sustainment program to ensure future success.
Support the execution of sustainment activities at third-party depots and with customers.
Identify future risks and create mitigation plans.
Drive integration across various teams including the USAF P&W Program Office Contracts Military Engines Finance and various P&W Engineering organizations.
Provide rapid responses to significant field events and address issues impacting aircraft and engine mission capability.
Communicate daily with Field Service Engineers to troubleshoot engine and software issues providing technical support for operational units flight test locations and aircraft depots.
Support mishap and engineering investigations
Occasional weekend and off-hour support may be needed to support the operational fleet and depot facilities.
Travel: 10-15%

Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelors degree (technical degree preferred) from an accredited college/university with 10 years of experience OR
An advanced degree in a technical discipline (or MBA) with 7 years of experience
6-10 years of experience working with the PW4000 commercial engines
Familiarization with Boeing 767 and/or USAF KC-46A Tanker engine integration.
U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

Engineering background specializing in management techniques and skills to manage complex programs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel PowerPoint Project and Word.
Familiarity with CORE tools global trade requirements responsibilities.
Experience with engine systems operation and software development processes.
Flexibility and strong organizational skills to handle urgent field requests.
U.S. Military Aircraft/Engine Maintenance experience is a plus.
DOD Secret Clearance preferred or the ability to obtain one.
Ability to develop and present material to cross-functional teams and upper-level management.
Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) and proficiency in technical writing.

The salary range for this role is 124000 USD - 250000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
