Wereseeking experienced auditors to join our Assurance team atSenior Associatelevel acrossPwC New Zealand office locations.Youllplay a key role in delivering high-quality external audit engagements across a diverse public and private sector client portfolio working with leading local and globalorganisations.
Thisfull-time role (Monday Friday minimum37.5 hoursper week)offers increased responsibility direct client engagement and opportunities to mentor junior team members all within a supportive values-led environment.Itsyour chance to deepen your technicalexpertise accelerate your career progression and make a meaningful impact while helping shape the future of audit in New Zealand.
Your day-to-day could include:
Collaborate closely with senior staff on statutory audit engagements guiding projects frominitialplanning through to final review and contributing to the evolution of our auditing practices.
Play a pivotal role in building public trust by delivering high-quality audits of financial statements that enhance the financial integrity and transparency of our clients.
Work directly with clients and high-performing teams to understand business needs ensure compliance with policies and standards test internal controls and substantiate financial information using best-practice audit methodologies.
Supervise and mentor junior staff and graduates fostering a culture of excellence while supporting their professional growth and development.
Leverage leading-edge technology to deliver high-quality external audit work in line with PwC auditmethodologyand auditing standards helping set new benchmarks for quality and innovation.

This is an excellent opportunity to build on your external audit experience ideally gained within a large globallyrecognizedprofessional services or audit firm.
Minimum3 years experiencedelivering external audit engagements within a complex regulated environment.
Professionally qualified or actively working towards arecognizedaccounting qualification (e.g.CAANZ CPA ACCA ICAEW or equivalent).
Demonstrated experience contributing to end-to-end external audit engagements including coaching supervising and reviewing the work of junior team members.
Strong working knowledge of internationallyrecognizedfinancial reporting standards particularlyIFRS.
A relevantbachelors or mastersdegree in accounting or a closely related discipline.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.
