Were looking for a Senior UoA Online Programme Consultant to join our welcoming and purpose-driven UoA Online team part of Student and Scholarly Services Te Kahu Tauira.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting others sharing knowledge and making a real difference to student journeys. Youll play a key role in guiding prospective postgraduate students helping them navigate their study options with confidence while also supporting and mentoring colleagues within the team.

This is a 37.5 hours per week full-time permanent role. The salary range for this role is $63600 - $79300 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.

Ngā haepapa matua What youll be doing
In this role you will:
- Support and mentor team members sharing your experience and helping others succeed
- Be a trusted point of contact for complex student enquiries ensuring people feel heard and supported
- Build strong connections with prospective students helping them make informed decisions about their study pathways
- Work closely with marketing academic and student support teams to improve recruitment and conversion outcomes
- Use insights and data to identify opportunities for service improvement and better student experiences
- Contribute to a positive inclusive team culture where collaboration and learning are encouraged

Youre someone who brings warmth professionalism and confidence to everything you do. You enjoy working with people and are motivated by helping others achieve their goals.
You will bring:
- Strong experience (34 years) in customer-facing or advisory roles ideally in a fast-paced or high-volume environment
- Experience in proactive engagement such as sales recruitment call centres or advisory services
- A natural ability to support coach or guide others whether formally or informally
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with people from diverse backgrounds
- Confidence using systems and managing multiple priorities with care and attention
Experience within tertiary education or student services is welcome but not essential what matters most is your people focus and commitment to service excellence.
