The Financial Analysis Manager is a key member of the Front-End Controllership team. This role is responsible for financial planning analysis inventory costing budgeting and control for manufacturing activities at the Boise siteincluding two major greenfield expansions (ID1 and ID2)as well as our New York fab. Reporting to the Director Boise Front-End Controller the Financial Analysis Manager manages critical finance functions as an individual contributor ensures strong financial governance and partners cross-functionally to support Microns growth and transformation.
Responsibilities:
Implement and manage the processes and systems of the Front-End Finance function in delivering product costing financial analysis forecasting and strategic planning.
Provide subject matter expertise in financial analysis budgeting and forecasting the manufacturing costs of the new Boise front-end manufacturing facilities.
Serve as a strategic partner to operations engineering and supply chain teams translating financial insights into actionable business strategies.
Implement advanced analytics automation and AI initiatives to improve forecasting accuracy streamline reporting and drive efficiency.
Develop and lead all aspects of cost allocation models for manufacturing and R&D activities that share common assets.
Ensure compliance with corporate policies US GAAP and regulatory requirements across site operations.
Mentor and develop finance team members fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Conduct scenario modeling ROI analysis and benchmarking to improve profitability support capital investment decisions and long-term growth.
Drive cost reduction and productivity initiatives to achieve best-in-class manufacturing cost performance.
Identify and mitigate financial risks ensuring robust governance and business continuity.
Communicate complex financial concepts clearly to non-financial partners enabling informed decision-making at all levels.
Model quarterly grant forecasts for budgeting and cashflow analysis.
Partner with global centralized finance teams to implement standard costing and provide insights on manufacturing costs.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related field.
8 years of experience in finance or accounting preferably in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing.
Demonstrated ability to deliver robust financial analysis and strategic planning.
Strong understanding of US GAAP and regulatory compliance.
Excellent communication partner management and leadership skills.
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) advanced Excel and financial modeling tools.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA CPA CMA CFA or advanced degree in a related field.
Experience in cost modeling manufacturing finance and inventory costing.
Familiarity with large-scale site expansion and government grant programs.
Proven ability to lead through ambiguity and complexity while driving organizational change.
Strategic problem solver with strong discernment and analytical capabilities.
