Under general supervision of the Operations Manager of Parking & Transportation Services the incumbent facilitates the development implementation and maintenance of sustainable transportation programs. This includes marketing programs to help increase the use of Sustainable Transportation on campus. Incumbent also participates in campus-wide sustainability efforts.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong abilities in establishing and maintaining program offerings while effectively organizing and presenting program information or research in formats that are easily understood by campus constituents. They will proactively develop written outreach materials and market campus programs with a preferred understanding of sustainability laws rules and regulations. This individual should be skilled in reading analyzing and interpreting data and financial reports to recommend changes or assess potential impacts on Sustainable Transportation Systems and Services as well as reviewing financial documents for accuracy and compliance. The candidate must be capable of responding to inquiries from regulatory agencies or community members presenting information to top management and delivering public speaking engagements supported by clear written materials. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word PowerPoint Publisher Adobe Pro and database systems.

Equivalent to a bachelors degree in a related field required.

Salary placement is determined by the education experience and qualifications the candidate brings to the position internal equity and the hiring departments fiscal resources.
Hiring Range: The hiring range for this position is $5157 (Step 1) - $7513 (Step 20) per month commensurate with candidates education experience skills and training.
CSU Classification Salary Range: The CSU Classification Salary Range for this position is $5157 (Step 1) - $5583 (Step 5) per month.
1.0 time-base 40 hours per week.
This is a temporary position for 1 year with no permanent status granted. Temporary assignments may expire prior to the ending date.
