Job Summary

Position:Preschool Educational Support ProfessionalPosition Type: Full TimeLocation: Early Childhood Development CenterReports to:: Building PrincipalSalary: As per FEA ESP ContractThis position qualifies for town benefits including Health Insurance General Description:The Franklin Public Schools a prek-12 district is seeking a skilled and experienced Educational Support Professional (ESP) to join the preschool team at the Early Childhood Development Center (ECDC). The ESP will work with lead teacher in a model of service delivery offering learning academic social emotional behavioral and physical support to children with and without disabilities in integrated classrooms. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide positive behavior supports and interventions for children with and without disabilities.
Work with lead teacher to provide academic social and emotional support and intervention
Work collaboratively with the early childhood team of teachers and therapists
Collect data

Qualifications:

Associate degree or higher or ParaPro Certification
Experience in early childhood/special education
Experience working with children with Autism and other developmental disabilities required
Able to take initiative and work independently
Knowledge of early childhood development
ABA experience preferred
Must successfully pass Criminal Offender (CORI) background check and national fingerprinting screening (CHRI).
