Job Summary
Hawk Ford of Carol Streamis a dynamic and rapidly growing automotive group with multiple dealership locations across Illinois. As a trusted name in the industry we are committed to excellence in every aspect of our operations from sales and service to customer satisfaction and community Large Auto Dealershipis looking for a Parts Counterperson; this is a union position. MONTHLY BONUSES AVAILABLE BASED ON PERFORMANCE AFTER 3 MONTHS OF SERVICE.
Core Responsibilities
- Customer Service:Greet assist and sell parts to retail customers service technicians and wholesale accounts (phone/in-person).
- Parts Management:Look up parts in electronic catalogs manage inventory (stocking receiving returns) and handle special orders.
- Sales & Billing:Process sales ensure correct billing for service orders and meet sales goals.
- Communication:Update customers on order status and coordinate with shop foremen/service advisors.
Experience Requirements
- 1 year minimum experience in a parts department setting
- Needs to have the ability to work Tue-Thu 9am-6pm Friday 8am-5pm Sat 8am-4:30pm
- CDK background is a plus
- General Motors experience is helpful
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
