Job Summary

Our client is a fast-growing consumer brand enabler that manages national and regional FMCG brands across modern trade channels. We are hiring an energetic and result-driven Area Sales Manager Modern Trade to drive sales growth retail execution and team performance across key modern trade accounts. The role involves managing multiple FMCG brands ensuring product availability executing promotions and building strong relationships with modern retail chains in a fast-paced environment.




Requirements

Sales & Business Growth

  • Achieve sales targets and revenue goals for the assigned zone

  • Drive range expansion secondary sales and new account development

Distribution & Availability

  • Ensure consistent SKU-wise availability across stores

  • Manage replenishment stock rotation and minimize stock-outs/expiry

Modern Trade Execution

  • Execute promotions visibility plans and in-store branding

  • Handle new product launches with correct placement and pricing

Team Management

  • Lead and develop the sales and field team

  • Manage PJPs productivity tracking and performance reviews

Analytics & Reporting

  • Analyze sales data competition and market trends

  • Prepare reports forecasts and dashboards for management

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships with retailers distributors and store managers

  • Resolve billing scheme visibility and supply-related issues


Desired Profile

  • MBA in Marketing (Full-Time) from a reputed institute

  • Minimum 4 years of FMCG sales experience (Modern Trade preferred)

  • Strong team handling and distributor management exposure

  • Good analytical planning and presentation skills

  • Proficient in MS Excel & PowerPoint
