Job Summary
The Assistant Coach Womens Soccer will be responsible for supporting the overall operation of the womens soccer program including on and off-field coaching video analysis recruiting alumni and community outreach and other administrative functions that support a highly successful Division 1 womens soccer program.
Essential Functions
- Assist the Head Womens Soccer Coach with all administrative responsibilities of a Division 1 Womens Soccer program.
- Serve as liaison to internal departments such as Equipment Operations Compliance Communications Business Office Marketing and Facilities.
- Coordinate administrative aspects for the program as assigned that promote a professional supportive and efficient program.
- Evaluate contact and recruit potential student-athletes to the University that will represent the program and the University at the highest levels both on and off the field.
- Assist the Head Womens Soccer Coach in the instruction of techniques strategies and skills in the sport of soccer.
- Analyze game and practice video to help formulate training and game strategies. Specific coaching or positional responsibilities to be determined by the Head Coach as needed to best support the success of the program.
- Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach including the operation of camps and clinics to support the fundraising needs of the program.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelors Degree orthe equivalent combination of education and work experience. (Please review the Equivalency Chart for additional information.)
- Minimum of 2 years of college coaching experience or the equivalent coaching experience.
- Strong administrative communication and organizational skills.
- Previous experience with video breakdown software packages.
- Valid Drivers License.
Preferred Qualifications
- Collegiate playing experience.
Physical Demands
- Typically sitting at a desk/table
- Typically standing walking
- Typically bending crouching stooping
- Typically running climbing
- Lifting demands 50lbs
