Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to design build anddeploy advanced analytical andAI-driven role involves working with complexmodels including combinatorialmodels deep learning and Generative AI applied to both structured and unstructured data.
The professional will contribute to end-to-endsolutions from model design andexperimentation to productiondeployment leveraging PythonR and cloud-basedPaaS services (preferably Azure). A strong focuswill be placed on GenAI use casessuch as LLMs diffusion modelsintelligent copilots and autonomous agents.
Main Responsibilities &Deliverables
Design and implement highly complex analytical modelsincluding:
* Combinatorialoptimization models
* Deeplearning models for structured and unstructured data
Develop solutions using Python and/or R andadvanced cloud PaaS services(preferably Azure)
Build and deploy Generative AI solutionsincluding:
* Textgeneration and summarization
* Contextualclassification
* Imagegeneration
* Intelligentcopilots and autonomous agents
Develop robustML pipelines including:
* Datapreprocessing
* Fine-tuningof foundation models (e.g. LLaMAMistral T5)
* Modelevaluation using metrics such as BLEUROUGE perplexity
* Controlleddeployment via APIs
Ensure production-gradeML engineering practices including lifecycle managementmonitoring and quality assurance
Technical Skills (Mandatory)
Degree in SoftwareEngineering Computer Engineering or a related field
Strong experience developing Machine Learning projectsusing Python R or SAS
Proven experience deploying ML models to productionand managing the full model lifecycle
Hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow
Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
Experience building AI-driven analytical solutions
Strong analyticalcritical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in collaborative international environments
Commitment to high-quality deliveries
Englishfluency (written and spoken)
Nice to Have
Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities sector
Familiarity with GDPR
Experience working with Agile methodologies andtools such as JIRA and Confluence
Experience in strategic or large-scale projects
Knowledge of Portuguese and/or Spanish
Experience developing interactive data visualization solutionsto present complex analytical results
