We are seeking a highly skilled Field Applications Engineer to join our dynamic team in San Jose United this role you will be the technical bridge between our cutting-edge products and our valued customers leveraging your engineering expertise to provide exceptional technical customer support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify new business opportunities
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations resolve problems
- Provide expert technical guidance and support throughout the sales cycle
- Analyze customer requirements and develop tailored presentations to related to their use case(s)
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolutions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry partners
- Contribute to product development by providing market feedback and customer insights
- Travel to customer sites within the United States as needed (typically once per month).
Qualifications :
REQUIRED
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical Computer or related field)
- 5 years of experience in field applications engineering or technical sales
- Strong technical knowledge in relevant engineering fields
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Proven track record of successful customer engagements and sales
- In-depth knowledge of industry-specific technologies and trends
SKILLS
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Understanding of customer pain points and technical requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant technical certifications are preferred
- Willingness to travel within the US to customer sites. Potential for international travel also exists.
