The purpose of this role is to contribute to accounting and reporting activities by performing routine and moderately complex financial tasks with a focus on accuracy timeliness and compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies. The role contributes to processing financial transactions analysing data preparing reports and assisting with budgeting processes to align accounting activities with government regulations and corporate standards.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and updated financial records.
Accurately record financial transactions in the standard accounting format.
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of accurate accounting records to ensure compliance with regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve basic financial queries and maintain data integrity
Assist in managing the credit control aspects of the business.
Assist in preparing and processing invoices payments and receipts.
Ensure all processes are documented in a standard format and maintained in an accessible fashion.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements to meet financial obligations.
