Job Summary

We are currently recruiting a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Ealing after the holidays. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and is looking to make a meaningful difference in a school setting.
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will be working closely with pupils across KS1 and KS2 who have a range of needs including Autism (ASD) ADHD speech and language needs and learning difficulties. You may be supporting children on a 1:1 basis or in small groups helping them to access the curriculum and develop both academically and emotionally.
You will work alongside the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored support strategies assist with differentiated lesson activities and help manage behaviour in line with the schools positive behaviour policy.
Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
Assist with phonics literacy numeracy and sensory activities
Support pupils with emotional regulation and social development
Work closely with teaching staff and external professionals
Help create a safe inclusive and nurturing learning environment

Requirements
Previous experience working with children with SEN (school or alternative setting)
A patient caring and proactive approach
Strong communication skills
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
