As the Head of Research and Development (R&D) you will lead a team of talented researchers and engineers to drive innova on and product development ini a ves. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background excep onal leadership skills and a track record of successfully managing R&D projects in India. It will Involve close coordina on and working along with our Global R&D headquarter in Germany.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of researchers and engineers to deliver innovative solutions for our products testing of R &D trials providing guidance support and mentorship on shopfloor and customer premises.
Stay abreast with the latest advancements in Agile and Scrum methodologies and practicesemerging technologies and industry trends identifying opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
Establish partnerships with external stakeholders including academia research institutions and industry partners to enhance R&D capabilities and access new opportunities.
Develop and execute the R&D strategy aligned with the companys overall objectives and market trends.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of R&D projects and make recommendations for improvements.
Preparation of components to be manufactured in a global supply chain.
Systematic analysis and break-down of technical issues.
Series second and third level support for manufacturing service and infield topics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing Production and Sales to
ensure alignment of R&D efforts with business goals.
Conduct Market research to identify trends customer needs and opportunities for innovation.
Your profile:
Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field is a must. A Masters or Ph.D. degree is preferred.
Proven track record of Leadership in R&D with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong technical exper se in CAD-Tools MS-Office Jira and Confluence with a deep understanding of research methodologies and product development processes.
Knowledge in use of PDM and PLM structures are welcome.
Interest in an interdisciplinary and intercultural work environment.
Strategic mindset with the ability to translate market insights into actionable R&D plans.
In-depth understanding of Scrum framework and its implementation.
Experience in a leadership role with the ability to mentor a team manage resources. effectively and familiarity with agile frameworks like Scrum.
Intrinsic motivation to make innovative ideas ready running with high efficiency.
Willingness and ability to quickly become acquainted with new tasks results-oriented with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.
