Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Welcome & Museum Host team
Oversee day-to-day operations duty management and exhibit performance
Ensure outstanding educational and immersive visitor experiences
Develop and deliver tours workshops events and new guest experiences
Support interpretation and implementation of new exhibits and content
Collaborate with marketing on content and visitor growth initiatives
About You
Bachelors degree (General Arts or related)
Proven experience managing a museum heritage site or visitor attraction
Strong knowledge of South African and Anglo-Boer War history
Confident communicator with excellent storytelling skills
Experienced people manager with a guest-focused mindset
Creative detail-oriented and comfortable with emerging technologies
Fluent in English and Afrikaans
Full clean driving license
