We are currently seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) to lead and support a nursing home team in Dublin Ireland.
Responsibilities
Act as Person in Charge (PIC) in the absence of the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) assuming 24/7 responsibility for clinical care and home operations when required.
Demonstrate a flexible approach to the needs of the home including willingness to work nights weekends and on-call duties as necessary.
Ensure the availability maintenance and safe operation of all equipment and supplies required for resident care.
Investigate and report critical incidents accidents or complaints promptly to the DON.
Maintain a strong clinical presence engaging regularly with residents and families to monitor standards of care and address concerns.
Lead and support nursing staff in the delivery of person-centred evidence-based care ensuring compliance with HIQA National Standards
Oversee clinical governance through auditing quality monitoring accurate documentation and the continuous improvement of care delivery.
Requirements
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
Post-registration qualification in management (preferred).
Post-registration qualification in nursing older people (preferred).
Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience preferably within a Nursing Home setting.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience of HIQA Standards and their application to the CNM role.
