Independent Contractor Bodywork & Paint Technician (1099)
Location: Saint Augustine FL Schedule: PartTime (about 2 days per week usually Wed/Thu or Thu/Fri) Compensation: Flatrate per project adjusted for experience and quality

The Role
Were looking for an experienced bodywork and paint technician who can work independently and deliver professional results. Youll handle prep blending and spraying with the goal of turning out cars that look factoryfresh. Most weeks youll have two scheduled days of work focused on specific projects rather than random tasks.
What Youll Be Doing
- Prepping surfaces: sanding filling smoothing so paint lays down clean.
- Mixing and blending colors to match existing finishes.
- Applying primers base coats and clear coats with a professional touch.
- Masking trim and protecting areas not being painted.
- Inspecting your own work catching runs sags or imperfections before the car leaves the booth.
- Keeping your tools and workspace in good shape.
What Were Looking For
- 3 years of auto body prep and paint experience.
- Solid knowledge of paint systems mixing and blending.
- Your own tools (spray guns sanders masks etc.).
- Dependable professional and detailoriented.
- Good communication with our scheduling team.

Skills: Good manual dexterity. Ability to solves problems effectively. Must be able to keep a clean work environment and work well with others. Must be a quality conscious team player. Requirements: Experience with Auto Body painting is required. Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Must have a strong work ethic and ability to pay attention to details. Must have experience with light collision and cosmetic repairs.
