Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Manufacturing Technician JST Technician to work on-site with our client a global leader in electronic measurement and testing solutions. This role supports the Order Fulfillment organization and focuses on optical component handling surface quality inspection cleaning processes and production reporting in a precision manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Load and unload optical components into and out of fixtures following established work instructions
Inspect surface quality (SQ) of optical parts to ensure cosmetic and quality standards are met
Perform cleaning and inspection of optical components and assemblies using approved solvents and procedures
Safely work with and around solvents and acids in accordance with safety protocols
Handle delicate optical components such as lenses mirrors and prisms with care and precision
Accurately report production completions and updates using Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams
Follow written and verbal work instructions while maintaining high quality safety and housekeeping standards
Collaborate effectively with technicians engineers and cross-functional team members

Must-Have Qualifications:

Experience working in an electronics manufacturing or light industrial environment
Familiarity with handling optical components such as lenses mirrors and prisms
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify surface quality or cosmetic defects
Ability to safely work with solvents and acids while following safety and PPE requirements
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Ability to read follow and communicate work instructions clearly in English (read write speak)
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams
Reliable safety-conscious and able to work effectively in a team-based environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in optical inspection cleaning or precision manufacturing environments
Experience working with fixtures jigs or basic manufacturing tooling
Familiarity with surface quality inspection standards
