JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary: The main function of a Facilities Technician is to provide general maintenance support for the assigned buildings. Job Responsibilities: Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe secure and well-maintained. Troubleshoot power HVAC system and controls and mechanical systems. Maintain general & preventative maintenance carpentry plumbing systems and vendor management. Replace lighting system bulbs and ballasts as needed. Move office furniture machinery equipment and other materials as requested. Skills: Interpersonal skills attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Basic ability to work independently and manage ones time. Basic knowledge of machines and tools including their designs uses repair and maintenance. Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED required. 2-4 years experience required.
