In 2025 were on track to achieve over $50 million in revenue growing at around 28% yearonyear. Our native iOS and Android apps are available in 12 languages with more than 10 million users to date and we ship to over 50 countries worldwide.

We launched our new website in 12 markets in April 2025 and our online magazine Perspectives in July of the same 2026 we are planning to supercharge our growth across more markets by scaling both our content strategy and digital PR. We also see the recent advancements in AI as an opportunity to increase Popsas digital footprint across non-Google platforms.

While were best known for photobooks today our ambition goes far beyond print. Popsa is building a new generation of services that combine artificial intelligence and thoughtful design to help people meaningfully reflect on organise and bring their memories to life.

The mission for the role
As SEO Lead your mission is to make organic search a durable defensible and futureproof growth channel for Popsa.

This is not a traditional SEO role. Youll be responsible for evolving our organic strategy beyond classic search into Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) ensuring Popsa is discoverable wherever and however people search including AIpowered experiences.

Youll own technical SEO best practice feed and Merchant Center performance and digital PR while partnering closely with Content Brand Product and Engineering to shape bottomoffunnel content for Perspectives Popsas online magazine.

This is a handson leadership role for someone who blends strategic thinking with executional depth and is excited by the pace and ambiguity of a scaling consumer tech business.

What success looks like in your first 6 months

    • Technical foundations: Our technical SEO setup is robust scalable and aligned with best practice across all markets.
    • Futureready search: Youve defined and begun executing a clear AEO / GEO strategy ensuring Popsa content performs across AIdriven search experiences.
    • Commercial impact: Feed and Merchant Center performance is materially improved supporting stronger product visibility and revenue contribution from organic shopping surfaces.
    • Content integration: SEO is deeply embedded into Perspectives shaping highintent bottomoffunnel content that supports both brand and conversion.
    • Authority building: A clear digital PR and linkbuilding strategy is live improving Popsas authority through highquality relevant coverage.
    • Crossfunctional trust: Youve built strong working relationships with Engineering Content PR Brand and Growth positioning SEO as a strategic partner rather than a service function.

Your Responsibilities


    • SEO & Technical Excellence
    • Own Popsas technical SEO roadmap ensuring best practice across crawlability indexation site performance internationalisation and structured data.
    • Partner closely with Engineering to scope prioritise and implement SEOrelated improvements.
    • Continuously audit and evolve our technical setup to support scale and new product launches.

    • AEO / GEO Leadership
    • Define and execute Popsas approach to Answer Engine Optimisation and Generative Engine Optimisation.
    • Ensure Popsa content is structured authoritative and discoverable across AIpowered search and assistant experiences.
    • Stay ahead of search platform evolution and translate emerging trends into practical strategy.

    • Feed Management & Merchant Center
    • Own product feed strategy across Google Merchant Center and other relevant platforms.
    • Improve feed quality structure and enrichment to maximise visibility across free and paid shopping surfaces.
    • Partner with Growth and Engineering to ensure feeds support commercial priorities.

    • Content Strategy (Bottom of Funnel)
    • Work closely with Content and Brand to shape SEOled content for Perspectives with a focus on highintent decisionstage queries.
    • Ensure content strategy balances performance brand voice and longterm authority building.
    • Provide clear guidance on briefs formats and optimisation best practice.

    • Digital PR & Link Building
    • Define and execute a bestinclass digital PR and linkbuilding strategy.
    • Secure highquality relevant coverage that strengthens Popsas authority and organic performance.
    • Collaborate with PR Content and external partners where appropriate.

    • Measurement & Evangelism
    • Define success metrics for SEO AEO and organic discovery more broadly.
    • Regularly share performance insights and opportunities with senior stakeholders.
    • Evangelise modern SEO thinking across the business.

What you bring to the team

    • Significant experience leading SEO for a consumer ecommerce or mobilefirst business.
    • Deep technical SEO expertise and a strong track record of working with engineering teams.
    • Advanced understanding of AEO GEO and the future of search beyond traditional blue links.
    • Experience managing product feeds and Merchant Center performance.
    • Strong content strategy instincts particularly for bottomoffunnel and commercial content.
    • Proven experience delivering digital PR and sustainable linkbuilding strategies.
    • A commercial mindset able to connect SEO activity to revenue and growth outcomes.

    • Nice to have:
    • Experience working in multimarket multilingual environments.
    • Familiarity with AIassisted content workflows and tooling.
    • Experience integrating SEO with broader brand and storytelling efforts.
