Sr Analyst, Quality Engineer (Test Data Coordinator)

This role will work a hybrid schedule coming into the Columbus Ohio office 2 days per week on Wednesdays & Thursdays.

Are you passionate about turning raw data into a powerful testing asset Join Annuity Modernization as a Test Data Coordinator youll be ensuring every test environment runs on accurate consistent and secure data. Your work will empower testing teams to validate functionality performance and reliability with confidence. From crafting test data sets to safeguarding sensitive information youll play a critical role in building the foundation for critical program delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Test Data Preparation:

• Generate and maintain test data sets for various testing phases smoke epic (integration & system) end to end UAT).

• Ensure data integrity and consistency across multiple environments.

Data Management:

• Ensure masking or anonymize sensitive data to comply with security and privacy standards.

• Maintain documentation of data sources and usage.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with QA engineers developers and business analysts to understand data requirements.

• Assist in troubleshooting data-related issues during test execution.

Automation & Tools:

• Learn and use test data management tools and scripts for data provisioning.

• Support automation teams by providing structured data for automated test cases.

Compliance:

• Follow organizational policies for data security and regulatory compliance (e.g. SoX HIPAA).

Skills:

• Intermediate understanding of databases (SQL preferred).

• Familiarity with software testing concepts and SDLC.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.

Preferred:

• Exposure to test data management tools (e.g. Informatica TDM Delphix) is a plus.

• Knowledge of data masking and synthetic data generation techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Under guidance carries out procedures to ensure all information systems products and services meet organization standards and end-user requirements.

• Analyzes and reviews requirements user stories and technical work products.

• Applies secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure our data and technology solutions are protected from threats and vulnerabilities.

• Uses the appropriate quality engineering tools to design and create the automation needed.

• Validates basic test results records and researches defects.

• With guidance leverages appropriate test engineering and automation tools and techniques for each technology domain and application.

• Assists in the identification of means to deliver more effective and efficient testing without compromising quality.

• Executes basic to moderate release testing and backs out testing when needed.

• Identifies documents and reports several release test results.

• Addresses defects found in release testing and works with the appropriate team members to resolve open testing issues or testing questions.

• Aligns with the Nationwide automated testing reference architecture.

• Complies with release management process governance and timelines throughout the release.

May perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Reporting Relationships: Reports to Technology Manager or Director.

Typical Skills and Experiences:

Education: Undergraduate studies in computer science management information systems or a related field is preferred.

License/Certification/Designation: Technology certifications including TOSCA Automated Specialist 1 (AS1) TOSCA Automated Specialist 2 (AS2) or other related designations are preferred.

Experience: Two years of related experience with software delivery or educational experience within a technology domain. Demonstrated experience in testing for agile teams including planning test plan creation maintenance and execution. Understanding of test automation and optimization throughout a stack and the tools to support.

Knowledge Abilities and Skills: Solid analytical and communication skills knowledge of planning. Ability to problem solve and set priorities needed. Insurance/financial services industry knowledge a plus.

Other criteria including leadership or technical skills competencies and experiences may take precedence.
