Job Title: (LATAM) IT Risk Analyst Entry Level

Location: LATAM Mexico or Brazil
Duration: 2 Months
Rate: $15-20/hr on W2

Role Overview

The Entry Level IT Risk Analyst supports the IT Risk and Information Security teams by assisting with the identification documentation and tracking of technology and cybersecurity risks. This role is ideal for individuals early in their career who want to build foundational experience in IT risk management compliance and security governance while working under the guidance of senior analysts and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Risk Assessment Support

Assist senior team members with IT and cybersecurity risk assessments for systems applications and vendors
Help document identified risks impacted controls and remediation actions in the risk register

Risk Tracking & Reporting

Track remediation activities and follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely updates
Assist in preparing basic risk summaries and reports for senior analyst review

Compliance & Audit Assistance

Support internal external and customer audits by gathering evidence and maintaining documentation
Assist with compliance efforts aligned to ISO 27001 and NIST frameworks under supervision

Vendor & Third-Party Risk Support

Assist with vendor risk assessments by collecting information reviewing questionnaires and documenting results
Maintain records related to third-party risk assessments and reviews
Participate in training and on-the-job learning to develop IT risk and cybersecurity knowledge

Collaboration & Learning

Work closely with IT Security and Business teams to understand technology risks and controls

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Information Technology Cybersecurity Information Systems or a related field
(or equivalent practical experience)
1 2 years of experience in IT cybersecurity risk audit or a related technical field
Basic understanding of information security concepts and IT systems
Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

Familiarity with risk or security frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST (academic exposure acceptable)
Internship or coursework related to IT security audit or compliance
Interest in pursuing security or risk certifications in the future
