Job description:

Key Responsibilities:

Lead data mapping from legacy systems to Guidewire PolicyCenter.

P Define transformation and cleansing rules for policy data.

Collaborate with ETL developers and data architects on conversion logic.

Collaborate with product managers and underwriters to define insurance product components using the Advanced Product Designer App.

Translate business product definitions into APD configurations including coverages conditions and exclusions.

Simulate and validate product behavior using APDs visual tools before deployment.

Ensure alignment between APD-generated artifacts and downstream Guidewire modules.

Validate mock conversions and support data reconciliation efforts.

Document conversion rules exception handling and cutover strategies.

Coordinate with business SMEs to ensure data accuracy and completeness.

Leverage tools like IBM DataStage for automated data profiling cleansing and transformation to streamline conversion efforts.

Utilise Guidewire DataHub for real-time data integration and conversion across Guidewire applications.

Support hybrid conversion strategies including:

Big Bang Conversion: Full policy migration at once for faster deployment.

On-Renewal Conversion: Gradual migration during policy renewals to reduce operational risk.

Required Skills: Deep understanding of policy data structures and insurance domain.

Experience with data migration tools and SQL.

Familiarity with Guidewire PolicyCenter data model.

Strong analytical and documentation skills.

Other requirements: Guidewire certification(s) Experience with data analysis and reporting tools. Familiarity with SQL and database management. Primary and Mandatiry skill : guidewire BA
