The IT Program Manager is a core member of the PMO responsible for driving alignment structure and predictable execution across IT Security GRC and Business Applications. This role ensures that all technical functions operate from a unified roadmap share priorities and execute with clear accountability. The IT PM transforms scattered initiatives into coordinated programs and establishes the processes cadences and reporting that allow teams to deliver consistently. They serve as the connective tissue that links IT operations security maturity business system improvements and regulatory compliance to broader business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Cross-Functional Program Leadership
- Lead programs that span IT Security GRC and Business Applications.
- Ensure all teams work from a shared roadmap with aligned priorities timelines and dependencies.
- Drive intake scoping and prioritization for technology and compliance initiatives.
Roadmap and Portfolio Management
- Maintain a unified portfolio of all IT Security GRC and BusApps initiatives.
- Create and manage timelines risk registers dependency maps and executive dashboards.
- Provide leadership with clear data-driven visibility into progress and blockers.
Execution and Delivery Discipline
- Hold teams accountable to commitments through structured communication status updates and escalation paths.
- Support cross-functional teams in breaking down work sequencing dependencies and removing obstacles.
- Ensure work moves predictably from planning to delivery.
PMO Structure and Process Improvement
- Build the frameworks for intake prioritization change management communications and repeatable workflows.
- Develop templates reporting mechanisms and operating rhythms that scale across all functions.
- Align IT Security GRC and Business Applications around standardized execution models.
Business Partnership and Alignment
- Collaborate with leaders across Sales Finance HR Operations Engineering and Customer-facing teams.
- Translate business needs into coordinated technology and security roadmaps.
- Ensure BusApps Security and IT have the structure and context needed to support the business effectively.
Required Experience and Skills
- 5 or more years in program management PMO or cross-functional technical leadership roles.
- Experience coordinating IT Security GRC and Business Applications teams.
- Strong communication influence and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to create structure from ambiguity and bring predictable execution to high-velocity teams.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with Salesforce identity systems cloud environments and enterprise SaaS ecosystems.
- Experience in SaaS environments
- PMP or similar certifications/experience
