Job Summary:
In accordance with the Mission Vision and Values of Genesis Health System (GHS) the Coordinator ofVolunteer Services will collaborate with leaders to understand analyze and implement volunteerprograms to supplement workforce needs for GMC Davenport and GMC Silvis. Key accountabilitiesinclude: Recruit interview and successfully place Volunteers into their work assignment. Develop andmaintain volunteer training and onboarding practices. Supervise and evaluate individual volunteerperformance to ensure adherence to the Genesis mission values and regulatory compliance Volunteer Services to improve overall organizational performance outcomes throughparticipation on patient experience and safety initiatives. Ongoing program administration and staffingcoordination for Volunteer Services such as (but not limited to) Gift Shops Information Desks PetTherapy Rounding Techs and SHIIP.
Job Duties:
The job requires direct supervision of a small work group or unit.
This includes responsibility for up to 6 employees.Hiring training assigning monitoring and assessing work
promoting etc.Work involves ensuring that human resource related decisions are compatible
with the organizations policies practices and direction.
Hours:
Full Time
40 hours/week
Minimum Qualifications:
More than 1 year experience required
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
