Business Support Officer MULTIPLE ROLES

Mater Hospital Springfield is seeking applications for Business Support Officers to join us in multiple permanent full-time roles. Based at our Springfield campus these roles will be part of a landmark moment in Queensland healthcare at Mater Hospital Springfield opening early 2026. This state of the art facility will meet the needs of the growing Greater Springfield region. With a mix of public and private beds across ICU maternity emergency and medical surgical services its set to care for over 200000 patients annually.

Salary range: $39.79 - $44.25 per hour plus superannuation andaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15900access to many staff benefits!

What youll be doing

• Provide high-level administrative support to Directors and Senior Leaders within a private practice environment
• Manage diaries meetings agendas minutes and executive correspondence
• Coordinate recruitment and onboarding activities including PageUp requests and interview scheduling
• Support rostering leave and workforce updates through Kronos
• Maintain accurate data reports spreadsheets and departmental databases
• Process invoices D365 requests and support private billing activities
• Coordinate operational requests including IT BEIMS CAPEX and facilities matters
• Liaise professionally with internal and external stakeholders
• Assist with workshops forums education sessions and special events
• Ensure confidentiality compliance and adherence to Mater policies procedures and values

About you

• Proven experience in healthcare or private practice administration (minimum 2 years highly desirable)
• Highly organised with strong time management and attention to detail
• Confident communicator with the ability to engage professionally and discreetly
• Experienced in managing confidential and sensitive information
• Comfortable working across multiple systems databases and Microsoft Office applications
• Able to exercise judgement initiative and problem-solving within established guidelines
• Collaborative team player who supports colleagues and contributes to a positive workplace culture
• Background in nursing or clinical environments is desirable but not essential
