Job Summary

Dataiku is The Universal AI Platform giving organizations control over their AI talent processes and technologies to unleash the creation of analytics models and agents. Providing no- low- and full-code capabilities Dataiku meets teams where they are today allowing them to begin building with AI using their existing skills and knowledge.

We are looking for an Regional Vice President to lead our Sales Engineering team across the Central European territory. This role is key in growing Dataikus business in the region ; They should work as an individual contributor and lead the team. They will support objectives related to our ability to deliver compelling highly technical customer engagements in the field. Key responsibilities in the coming months will be the enablement of the existing team the hiring and retaining of top talents and ensuring excellence in our execution.

How youll make an impact:

  • Lead a team of Sales Engineers helping to ensure technical success throughout the sales process
  • Be the main technical point of contact for the VP sales of the region to strategise on opportunities give reliable visibility to the pipe and train / coach the sales team on technical topics
  • Mentor/coach team members during on-boarding and subsequent phases to ensure proper ramping of skills and capabilities
  • Mentor / coach team members on a day to day basis: brainstorm on the strategy to adopt for each opportunity provide constructive feedbacks
  • Interact with customers and prospects to understand their business challenges and engage in evaluation process
  • Build strong working relationships with cross functional teams to ensure alignment between pre and post sales activities
  • Work with cross functional teams product management R&D and other organisations to ensure alignment provide process and product feedback and resolve critical customer situations

What youll need to be successful:

  • 8 years experience in sales engineering of enterprise software products big data tech experience preferred
  • 4 years related Sales Engineering management experience is preferred
  • Experience in complex / large-scale enterprise analytics deployment
  • Familiarity with Python and/or R
  • Experience in data storage and computing infrastructure for data of all sizes (SQL NoSQL Hadoop Spark on-premise and cloud)
  • Knowledge of machine learning libraries and techniques
  • Experience with visualisation and dash-boarding solutions
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills
