Your Impact

We are looking for a IT Support Specialist who will contribute to the success of the IT Team applying their expertise in IT Support to support the achievement of team and company goals and deliver innovative reliable this role the successful candidate will collaborate effectively with colleagues and cross-functional teams demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making skills and maintain a commitment to professional excellence quality and continuous improvement.

The Role

This role will be a part of a growing team that helps drive the success of the IT department by providing excellent customer service and technology experience. The IT Support Specialist will ensure PMSs systems are efficient secure and up to date providing IT support and expertise to keep everything running smoothly across our global operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of curiosity and willingness to learn and grow with a blend of technical expertise problem-solving skills and customer focus.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second-level technical support for Particle Measuring Systems software applications and related hardware.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively escalating complex problems as needed.
  • Install configure and maintain computer hardware and software systems.
  • Provide remote and on-site technical support to customers as required.
  • Document and track customer issues and resolutions.
  • Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets.
  • Participate in the development and improvement of IT support processes and procedures.
  • Manage AD users and groups permissions and email systems.
  • Support Microsoft 365/Azure environment with emphasis on Outlook Microsoft Teams OneDrive and SharePoint applications
  • Continuously evaluate processes for improvements in efficiency quality and safety

Required Qualifications

  • Associates degree in information technology or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware and software systems.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft 365 and Azure environment
  • GeneralKnowledge ofMicrosoft Exchange (On-Premiseand Online)
  • General Knowledge ofHypervisor technology (Hyper-V and VMware)
  • Understanding of networking including DNS DHCP TCP/IP
  • Understanding of Microsoft Server technologies including Active Directory File/Folder Permissions Print Management Remote Desktop etc.
  • Experience with cloud-based technology and applications.
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong and creative problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-growing team.
  • Excellent customer service.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • This role primarily operates in an office environment. Must be able to sit stand and use a computer for extended periods of time
  • Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs. may be required

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base hourly range: $28.95 38.46 per hour
    • Our compensation philosophy: we offer competitive pay based on market data including local national and industry benchmarks. For new hires offers are generally within the established min- to mid-point of the range for the role with flexibility to recognize experience skills and education. Our approach ensures fair pay internally while remaining competitive externally and allows room for growth.
