KEY OBJECTIVE:
Chubb Personal Risk Services is seeking a Sales Manager for the Central Region. The Sales Manager is responsible for maximizing financial results leading new client acquisition for their assigned book of business while managing broker relationships as a primary Chubb contact.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Achieve production goals for assigned book of business and support branch goals;
- Develop and maintain trusted broker relationships with high visibility through travel;
- Build a robust quality pipeline of new client opportunities and proactively move prospects through the process of quoting positioning and closing deals;
- Adhere to a disciplined sales process to ensure consistent execution of best practices including pipeline documentation;
- Lead and support table set best practices for large account opportunities;
- Develop broker assessments and business plans with assigned brokers designed to grow new business and achieve financial retention targets;
- Analyze results to monitor broker-specific and branch trends as part of book management. Implement strategies to achieve business goals;
- Book management including analysis of results to identify broker specific and branch trends;
- Responsible for quote follow up and quote optimization with brokers;
- Effectively manage relationships across the brokerage to drive engagement with all stakeholders;
- Provide broker training to understand Chubbs products services and competitive advantages;
- Communicate product and service enhancements as well as rate changes;
- Address and respond to broker inquiries specific to service underwriting commissions claims broker coding and the like. Engage appropriate resources as required;
- Deliver and support strategic initiatives and marketing campaigns including attendance at associated events;
- Participate in internal meetings and report on results as appropriate;
- Collaborate and interact with Underwriting Risk Consulting Product Claims and Branch Administration.
Qualifications- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience;
- Minimum of 3 years of personal lines sales marketing underwriting claims risk consulting or broker experience;
- Strong oral and written communication skills;
- Proven track record of sustained high sales performance and achievement with an ability to drive results and innovate in a fast- paced environment;
- Agile learner who can quickly absorb information and apply it to current business situations;
- Proven ability to identify/react to problems and opportunities produce alternatives and implement viable solutions;
- Assertive sales oriented and results driven;
- Good interpersonal skills to build and expand on internal and external relationships;
- Experience selling to high net worth clients is preferred;
- Knowledge of Chubbs personal insurance strategies appetite and products is an asset.
