Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Location: Redding CA
Shift: Day Shift 07:00 AM 07:30 PM 3x12 (36 hours/week)
Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) ICU is responsible for delivering safe high-quality patient care by utilizing the nursing process of assessment planning implementation and evaluation. The RN provides direct patient care within the scope of practice ensures adherence to ICU standards of care and collaborates with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities -
Provide direct and individualized nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop implement and evaluate individualized care plans
-
Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data and patient responses to treatment
-
Communicate promptly and effectively with physicians regarding changes in patient condition abnormal findings and diagnostic results
-
Administer medications treatments and interventions safely and accurately
-
Respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations and changes in patient status
-
Educate patients and families regarding care plans procedures and recovery
-
Supervise and guide nursing support staff while maintaining ICU standards of care
-
Ensure compliance with hospital policies regulatory requirements and patient safety standards
-
Maintain patient privacy confidentiality and professional ethics at all times
-
Accurately document patient care assessments and interventions in the medical record
Qualifications -
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
-
Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU or critical care experience (preferred)
-
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
-
Strong knowledge of critical care nursing practices and hemodynamic monitoring
-
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced high-acuity environment
-
Excellent communication critical thinking and organizational skills
