Job Summary
This is a remote position.
RD Nutrition Consultants is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our team in a fully remote part-time role conducting Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) assessments for Medicaid patients. These assessments determine eligibility for a free meal program that supports individuals with high BMI and/or diabetes.
This is an ongoing contract position with flexible hours and efficient patient visits.
Position Details
2024 hours per week
100% remote
California-based opportunity (no state licensure required)
Start date: ASAP
What Youll Do
Conduct MNT assessments to determine eligibility for meal services
Contact patients directly to schedule virtual appointments
Complete required documentation for program eligibility
Appointments typically last 1530 minutes
No ongoing counseling or long-term follow-up required
Compensation
$30$38 per hour
- Paid for the full hour per appointment regardless of visit length
(Effective earnings can be up to $152/hour based on appointment duration)
Qualifications
Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN)
Spanish-speaking / bilingual strongly preferred
Comfortable with virtual patient interactions
Experience working with high BMI and/or diabetes populations preferred
