Title: Sales Manager Engineering Services
Full-time/Permanent employment
Location: Novi Michigan
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow engineering services revenue
- Identify qualify and pursue new business opportunities across target industries
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients consultants and stakeholders
- Lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals bids and tenders
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop customized technical solutions
- Negotiate contracts pricing and terms with clients
- Track sales pipeline forecasts and performance metrics
- Represent the company at industry events conferences and client meetings
- Monitor market trends competitor activity and client needs
- Support account management and client retention strategies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Business or a related field
- 5 years of experience in sales or business development within engineering services
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of engineering consulting EPC or technical services
- Excellent communication presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical proposals and scopes of work
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
- Engineering degree or technical background strongly preferred
- Experience selling services in industries such as oil & gas construction infrastructure manufacturing energy or utilities
- Familiarity with RFP/RFQ processes and contract negotiation
- Existing client network within relevant engineering sectors
