About the role
National Parks and Wildlife Service has a unique opportunity for a Project Officer to work as part of the team and contribute towards the conservation of the natural environment historic heritage and Aboriginal heritage at the Quarantine Station in Sydney Harbour National Park.

The Project Officer will primarily lead and coordinate heritage planning and curatorial activities as part of the Quarantine Station team.


About You
Your passion for the environment coupled with a strong attention to detail will be key to your success in this role. You will have strong communication skills as you will be liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate opportunities for engagement and the understanding of and compliance with lease and environmental approval conditions. Youll enjoy working as part of a team but be able to work independently or with minimal supervision. Your enthusiasm will enable you to thrive and succeed in this diverse and dynamic role. Furthermore you will also have experience in managing projects ensuring deliverables are met at a high quality.


Essential Requirements

Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent relevant working experience in project management.
