Your new role as Planning & Allocations Officer will see you planning scheduled aircraft maintenance in accordance with the QantasLink CAMO approved maintenance program ensuring compliance is always met. To do this you will support effective and comprehensive utilisation of the Trax Maintenance Information System focusing on the Planning module. Here you will build maintenance packages plan defects assess modifications campaign components and liaise with various stakeholders to manage the requirements of each task. This role has two functions that are shared amongst the members of the team to create resilience and skill diversity across the team.

Your role will also involve allocating aircraft operations for the fleet to ensure maximum utilisation observing maintenance requirements and adjusting the aircraft patterns to meet operational and maintenance requirements. The focus will be on delivering a stable maintenance plan that delivers routine sufficient levels of work for the AMOs without impacting on the operational schedule.

As an ideal candidate you will bring:

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
• Ability to adapt positively and remain resilient in a fast-changing environment
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collate and interpret data relevant to planning and allocations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on clear and confident verbal communication
• Ability to read interpret and apply technical documentation effectively
• A proactive mindset with a drive to fully understand the role and continuously seek opportunities for improvement
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with Trax Maintenance System (Planning module) and Armadeus Schedule Recovery (COMPASS) highly regarded
• Knowledge of Aircraft Technical Documentation (ICA) and Maintenance Programs preferred but not essential
• Previous aviation operational or planning experience advantageous but not essential
