Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable cleaning supervisor to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation within a managed facility and lead a team of 3 cleaners. This role is critical in ensuring a safe hygienic and welcoming environment for staff and visitors and children. The ideal candidate will take ownership of their assigned areas consistently delivering thorough and professional cleaning services while adhering to safety and operational protocols. This position requires physical endurance attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team contributing to a positive and well-maintained workplace.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitise designated areas including restrooms offices and common spaces.
- Dust surfaces furniture and fixtures regularly.
- Vacuum and mop floors using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated containers.
- Restock cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed.
- Report maintenance or repair issues promptly to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures during cleaning operations.
- Maintain a professional courteous and respectful demeanour at all times.
- Monitor staff performance and check cleaning areas daily.
- Report any issues to Operations Manager
- Cover staff sickness when required.

Requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial services is preferred.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move objects.
- Attention to detail and commitment to thorough high-quality cleaning.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals equipment and safe handling practices is a plus.
