Job Summary
About the RoleThe Process Engineer plays a critical role in strengthening Hoffmasters manufacturing capabilities by designing improving and optimizing production processes. Youll partner across operations engineering and quality to enhance equipment run ability improve product reliability and support new equipment and product launches. From implementing data-driven process improvements to conducting trials on new technologies youll help ensure we deliver safe consistent and high-quality products to our Youll DoDevelop implement and refine manufacturing processes to improve efficiency reduce waste and maintain high product quality using Lean Six Sigma and other continuous improvement and optimize equipment performance by supporting system design layout troubleshooting and root cause and support new product and equipment launches by executing trials defining KPIs and analyzing performance to drive operational compliance with safety environmental and food-safety requirementsincluding GMP and HACCPthrough risk assessments corrective actions and strong quality control across departments to resolve process issues and communicate technical findings performance trends and recommendations to stakeholders at all production teams on new processes equipment and procedures while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and additional duties as needed to support department and organizational Were Looking ForProficiency in Lean Six Sigma PFMEA root cause analysis and quality management analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply data-driven in Microsoft Office Suite and 2D CAD software such as DraftSight or AutoCAD; experience with 3D CAD (e.g. SolidWorks) is a communication collaboration and documentation -oriented proactive and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced degree in Mechanical Industrial Manufacturing Engineering or a related of 3 years of experience in process engineering quality engineering or manufacturing operations; experience in paper or film converting/printing is a ValuesSafety Teamwork Customer Focus Ownership Initiative CreativityAt Hoffmaster our core values guide how we work and how we support each other every day.
