What is our opportunity

As an In Work Support Mentor you will play a critical role in providing ongoing support toparticipants with a disability injury or health condition who have secured will mentor and coach individuals helping them navigate the challenges of their new roles and ensuring they have the tools and resources to succeed.

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Regular check-ins with participants
  • Providing guidance on workplace issues and connecting them with additional support services
  • Collaborate with employers to foster a positive working relationship.

Who are you

You are a dedicated professional with a strong background in employment services or related fields. You have skills and experience including:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to build rapport and trust with clients and employers
  • Able to problem-solve and resolve conflicts are essential
  • Provide tailored support to meet the unique needs of every client.
  • Knowledge of Disability Employment Services or the Disability Sector will be highly regarded.
  • Experience within Employment Services is advantageous but not essential.

You must be able to balance empathy dignity and respect in your daily work with a drive to ensure we achieve positive business outcomes.

A valid Police Check and Working with Children Check are mandatory requirements prior to commencement of employment. Successful candidates must set up a myGovID in order to access Government data aligned to role.
