Associate Quality Production Specialist (FAI)

Boeing Global Services (BGS) Distribution Services is looking for an Associate Quality Production Specialist (FAI) to join our team in Enfield CT.

Position Responsibilities:

• Maintain QA internal and external systems such as QA helpdesk IQMS etc. working with customer quality engineers and internal stakeholders to ensure systems are up to date and actions close in a timely manner.

• Disposition and control of non-conforming products.

• Review and approval of First Articles from suppliers.

• Perform First Articles for submission to customers.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 2 - 4 years of related work experience

• Experience in QA inspection methods and procedures including First Article Inspection

• Experience in the usage of calipers ring/pin gages comparator

• Knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

• Fluent in English (i.e. reading writing and verbal communication)

• Strong analytical organizational and troubleshooting skills

• Proficient PC skills and use of Microsoft Office products (Outlook Excel)

This role requires passing a documented color and near vision exam.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• GD&T Skills

• Knowledge of AS9100 requirements

• Previous aerospace inspection experience

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
