Abbott Diabetes Care has opened a new site in Kilkenny that is at the forefront of Diabetes care with the latest technology to manufacture FreeStyle blood glucose test strips and FreeStyle Sensors for use in diabetes management. Among Abbott Diabetes Care leading brands are the FreeStyle Precision FreeStyle Lite and FreeStyle Libre systems.
Main purpose
In this role asFacilities Supervisor you will oversee thegovernanceof our chosen IntegratedFacilitiesManagementpartner (IFM). The role willprovide supportto thefacilitiesplanningfunction by interfacing withinternal customersdocumentingtheir needs and monitoring site space developing site space strategies and recommending solutions tomanagement.
You will be responsible for:
Support theFacilitiesManager and undertake general duties to ensure the smoothrunningof the IFM function
Owner of the oversight of the IFM contract for the site.
Owner for site KPIs in relation to soft and hard services covered in the site quality management system .
Review of IFM supplier contracts.
Assist with the preparation of theFacilitiesbudget and monitor expenditure where necessary
Key stakeholder in the sitewideaccess controlandcontractor managementsystems
Be an active member of the DepartmentssustainabilityTeam
Ensure a consistently high level of service across the business ensuring common processes are carried out
Follow and apply all Health and Safety Rules and Regulations in the plant.
This Job function will update procedures toGMP & facilities procedures &SOPs where required.
Qualifications/Experience
Minimum 4 years related work experience
Minimum Level 7 Qualification inEngineering/Business or equivalent relevant discipline
StrongStakeholder Managementand ability to communicate effectively
Experience of managing and motivating teams in a service-led environment
Proficient inMicrosoft Office Suite
Strongorganisationaland problem solving skills
Experience of working in a regulated industry environment
