Job Summary**
The Manufacturing Test Development Engineer designs develops and implements robust test solutions for Jabils diverse product portfolio ensuring efficient production and the highest quality standards.
Job Responsibilities**
* Develop and implement automated test programs fixtures and systems for manufacturing processes covering a range of electronic and mechanical assemblies.
* Collaborate with design engineering production and quality teams to define test requirements specifications and strategies.
* Design and build test fixtures including mechanical electrical and pneumatic components utilizing CAD software and other relevant tools.
* Write and debug test software using various programming languages (e.g. LabVIEW Python C# C) and integrate with test equipment.
* Perform test coverage analysis and optimize test processes for efficiency cost-effectiveness and defect detection.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex test equipment and product failures identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
* Participate in new product introduction (NPI) activities ensuring test readiness and smooth production ramp-up.
* Document test procedures specifications and validation reports in accordance with Jabils quality management system.
* Provide technical support and training to manufacturing personnel on test processes and equipment.
* Stay abreast of new test technologies methodologies and industry best practices to continuously improve test capabilities.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Mechatronics Engineering or a related technical field.
* 3 years of experience in test engineering or a related role within a manufacturing environment.
* Proven experience in designing and developing automated test solutions for electronic products.
* Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used for test automation (e.g. LabVIEW Python C# C).
* Strong understanding of electrical circuits digital and analog electronics and measurement techniques.
* Experience with various test equipment such as oscilloscopes multimeters power supplies spectrum analyzers and automated test equipment (ATE).
* Familiarity with CAD software for mechanical design (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD) is a plus.
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes lean principles and quality control methodologies.
* Excellent problem-solving analytical and troubleshooting skills.
* Strong communication teamwork and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.
