Mission:
The Facility Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that all company facilities operate efficiently safely and in alignment with organizational goals. This position is responsible for overseeing the functionality maintenance and overall condition of buildings and related infrastructure creating an environment that supports productivity and comfort for employees clients and visitors. The Facility Manager coordinates all aspects of facility operations including building systems utilities security and space management while ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
In addition to managing day-to-day operations the Facility Manager develops long-term strategies for preventive maintenance cost optimization and sustainability initiatives. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to supervise contractors negotiate service agreements and monitor performance metrics. The Facility Manager also plays a key part in emergency preparedness and risk management ensuring that contingency plans are in place to minimize disruptions. By combining technical expertise with strategic planning the Facility Manager ensures that facilities remain safe reliable and aligned with the companys operational and financial objectives.

Functions: The Facilities Manager will have the following key responsibilities.
- Facility Operations:
Manage day-to-day operations of buildings and facilities.
Ensure proper functioning of HVAC plumbing electrical and other building systems.
Coordinate space planning and office layout changes.
- Maintenance & Repairs:
Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
Supervise repair work and ensure timely resolution of facility issues.

- Fleet Management:
Manage company vehicle fleets including scheduling maintenance repairs and compliance with regulations.
Optimize fleet utilization and cost efficiency.
- Utilities & Service Providers:
Coordinate and manage contracts with general service providers such as electricity water internet and telecommunication companies.
Monitor service quality and ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Health Safety & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with local regulations building codes and safety standards.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain a safe environment.
- Vendor & Contractor Management:
Select negotiate and manage contracts with service providers.
Monitor performance and adherence to service level agreements.
- Budget & Reporting:
Prepare and manage facility budgets including maintenance utilities and procurement.
Generate reports on facility performance costs and improvement plans.
- Sustainability & Efficiency:
Implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainability programs.
Monitor utility consumption and identify cost-reduction opportunities.

Requisitos del candidato

Academic Background
Degrees / Certificates / Training: Technical education or a bachelors degree is desirable.

Languages and Required Level
High level of English.
Knowledge of Dutch and Spanish will be considered an advantage.

Additional Skills / Knowledge
At least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools is required.
