Quartr is seeking a highly motivated and organized Inbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our New York City office.
The SDR team is a core growth engine for Quartr responsible for turning interest in our products into a qualified pipeline for our Account Executives. This role is primarily focused on inbound lead qualification and follow-up while also supporting marketing-driven initiatives and building lead lists for our outbound SDRs.
This is not a pure cold-calling role. Youll do some outbound prospecting (mainly on warmer targets and campaign-driven outreach) but your core responsibility is maximizing the value of the inbound demand were already generating. Youll work closely with Sales Marketing and Product to:
Respond to inbound leads with speed and consistency
Run structured analysis to ensure we focus on the right opportunities
Support targeted outbound campaigns with research and list building
Feed ground-level insights back into our go-to-market strategy
What youll do
As an Inbound SDR youll be responsible for owning the front door of our sales process: engaging inbound prospects qualifying opportunities and ensuring a smooth handoff to the AEs. Your responsibilities will include:
Respond to inbound leads from channels such as the website marketing campaigns events and referrals
Qualify inbound prospects using established criteria (company fit role use case timing etc.)
Run short discovery conversations over the phone to understand prospect needs challenges and goals
Scheduling and setting up meetings for Account Executives with well-qualified prospects
Collaborating with Marketing on campaigns and sales-related initiatives including:
Providing feedback on lead quality and messaging
Supporting the outbound SDR team by:
Building and enriching lead lists for key segments and named accounts
Running light outbound (email / LinkedIn limited cold calling) to warm or high-intent targets tied to campaigns
Maintain clean accurate CRM data for all activities leads and opportunities
Continuously learn about Quartrs products our ideal customer profiles industry trends and the competitive landscape so you can communicate our value clearly and confidently
Experience in a customer-facing role (sales support customer success retail or similar)
Strong communication skills and the ability to hold clear concise conversations with prospects
Comfort working an inbound queue with urgency and discipline (SLAs follow-up cadences etc.)
Process-oriented mindset you respect CRM hygiene and follow a structured approach to qualification
Analytical thinking and the ability to use data (conversion rates activity metrics funnel stages) to prioritize and improve
Ownership mentality you take responsibility for your pipeline and outcomes not just activities
Adaptable and open to new tools processes and ways of working
Fluent in English both written and verbal
Previous SDR / BDR / business development experience is a strong plus
Interest or experience in finance or capital markets is a big plus
