Workshop Supervisor

McCosker Contracting have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Supervisor to join our team. There are multiple opportunities available working in Queensland.

In this role you will successfully coordinate workshop operational requirementsand be responsible for the direct supervision of workshop and subcontractor workers to ensure all safety environmental and quality specification requirements are achieved.

To be successful you will have:

• Qualification in Engineering - Mechanical / Diesel Fitting / Mobile Plant or equivalent
• Current Queensland Open Drivers Licence
• Construction Industry Induction (white card/ blue card)
• Experience in planning and coordinating resources
• Experience in managing people and work outcomes
• High level knowledge and experience in mechanical maintenance of plant and equipment used in a civil construction industry
• Experience with Caterpillar Hitachi Volvo will be advantageous
• Knowledge or and/or experience in the civil construction industry
• Experience in managing teams and supervising the work of others
