1Chevron is accepting online applications for the position Project Managerthrough January 5 2026 at 11:59 p.m. (Central Time).
This position has overall responsibility for successful development execution and start-up of small to large size capital projects at Chevron BD manufacturing responsibilities include development of project justification scope schedule budget design assurance equipment procurement and managing contractors performing the work in order to deliver capital projects safely on time and on budget.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
- Develop lead and implement capital projects (scope schedule budget)
- Coordinate project teams and review meetings (design construction safety reviews)
- Manage equipment specification procurement and contractor agreements
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC OSHA PSM and safety standards
- Oversee on-site activities contractor management and progress monitoring
- Provide project estimation and technical evaluations
- Maintain project files document control and closeout procedures
- Review installations and ensure adherence to technical drawings
- Organize meetings assign action items and report progress to stakeholders
- Prepare capital requests and monthly project reports
Required Qualifications:
- Education 4-year bachelors degree - Mechanical Engineering Chemical Engineering preferred.
- Quantified experience 3 years project management in a process-related industry preferably in biodiesel edible oils petroleum petrochemical ethanol chemical manufacturing environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education / Certifications PMP Certification
- Quantified experience 5 years project management in biodiesel edible oils petroleum petrochemical ethanol or chemical manufacturing.
Relocation Options:
