Job Summary

As Southeast Queenslands only co-educational primary Grammar school Ipswich Junior Grammar provides a high quality non-denominational education for boys and girls from Kindergarten to Year 6.

THE OPPORTUNITY

An opportunity exists for an experienced Early Childhood Educator(minimum Diploma qualification) to support the delivery of our morning and afternoon programat the Early Education Centre.

This position is a permanent part-time split-shift role ordinarily rostered from 6:15am8:15am and 2:30pm6:00pm each day. Some flexibility may be negotiated in line with the operational needs of the service and a split shift allowance will apply.

Demonstrate strong skills in identifying managing and responding to risk particularly during high-traffic times such as arrivals and departures
Build warm trusting relationshipswith children and families and respond sensitively to their needs during key parts of their day
Be a calm responsive and engaging presencewho supports childrens wellbeing safety and sense of belonging
Be a flexible team member and all-rounder willing to support across rooms age groups and routines as required
